Lincoln Bragg, age 82, of Crum, West Virginia, departed from this life peacefully, while surrounded by family and friends, from his home on Friday, April 3, 2020. He was born on January 25, 1938, to the late Junior Bragg and Roxie (Marcum) Bragg.

Lincoln found pleasure in the simple things of life. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed nothing more than riding his ATV, digging herbs and roaming through the West Virginia hills. He also cherished time spent with family and friends and enjoyed sharing stories of his life, witty jokes, hugs and smiles.

In addition to his parents, Lincoln was preceded in death by his infant son, Dennis Ray Bragg, his brother, Leonard Bragg, his grandson, Michael Alan, his life-long friend, Wayne Justice and his faithful companion, Baby.

Lincoln is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Carol Sue (Adkins) Bragg, seven children: Deborah (Johnny) Pack of Crum, WV, Lincoln (Debbie) Bragg Jr. of Kermit, WV, Brenda Bragg of Dingess, WV, Randy Bragg of Crum, WV, Theresa (Jeffrey) Sturgell of Leon, WV, Louri (Glenn) Marcum of Stepptown, WV and Gregg (Katie) Bragg also of Crum, WV. He also leaves behind his siblings: Ray (Jean) Bragg, Landon “Duke” Bragg, Shelby Senters, Virginia Cook, Ruth Davis, Jody Sword and Edith Cline. In addition, he is survived by one Aunt, Fanny Spaulding and two special people whom he considered his own, Patty Salmons and Sherrie Bragg. Lincoln was also blessed with 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends who will miss him terribly.
