Obituary for Wyzona Marcum
Wyzona Marcum 79 of Jennies Creek, WV passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at her home. She was born on April 20, 1941 in Mingo Co., WV; she was a daughter of the Andrew and Mary Jane Piggs Messer. She was preceded in death by her husband; Marion Marcum and daughter, Irene Messer and sister, Patty Evans. She was a housekeeper and a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
She is survived by her children; Eddie Marcum, Connie Flemings, Phyllis Messer, and Elizabeth Muncy, as well as her grandchildren, Michelle Vance, Lark Muncy, Amanda Fleming, Jessica Whitehair, Shane Marcum, Christopher Marcum, and Austin Marcum and several great grandchildren and a niece, Geraldine Muncy.
Visitation will be from 11-1pm on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Mullins Family Funeral Home with funeral services being conducted on Wednesday at 1pm with the Right Rev. John Bell and the Rev. Mr. Aaron Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in the Hodge Cemetery of Jennies Creek, WV. *Due to the recent mandates set forth by the Kentucky Funeral Directors Association, 35-40 people are allowed at a time in the chapel with face masks being required and social distancing guidelines are in place.* Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Wyzona Marcum.
