Willard Eugene (Rub Doctor) Marcum 63 of Kermit, WV; gained his wings on May 21, 2021 at his life, long home on Marrowbone Creek Road. He was a retired truck driver for LST which was a job he truly loved. His grandchildren was his life. He was born on November 3, 1957 to the late Willard Marcum and Vicie Fitchpatrick Warrix Marcum. He was preceded in death by his 3 brothers, Donald Ray Warrix, Charles Warrix, and Verlin Warrix as well as 1 sister, Shelia Marcum and a granddaughter, Marcia Ward and mother-in-law, Catherine Crum.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Mona (Lisa) Whitt Marcum as well as his children; Gabriel Marcum (Shawnta) of Marrowbone, WV, Rodney Lee Marcum (Jessica) of Nolan, WV, Dewey Sheridan Marcum (Ami) of Left Fork of Marrowbone, WV as well as 9 grandchildren, Ashley, Jacob, Rodney Dale, Ethan, Katherine Jean, Jessie, Audri, Gabriel Eugene Jr., Lacie LaShae, and a special granddaughter, Shyla Watts. Rub Doctor also leaves behind his broterh, Ralph Warrix of Hearts Creek, WV and 2 sisters, Shirley Waller of Texas and Joyce Ferrell of Georgetown, KY as well as many nieces, nephews, and life long friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 12:00pm noon at the Little White Church on Left Fork of Marrowbone Creek, Wv with Rick Colegrove officiating. Burial will follow in the Newsome Ridge Cemetery of Naugatuck, WV. Visitation will be after 5pm Tuesday at the church.
