Wayne Franklin Meddings, 52 of Crum, WV went home to be with the Lord on September 8, 2019. He was preceded in death his mother, Vicie Marie (Pack) Meddings on October 1, 2009. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Brittany Leann Meddings of Crum, WV, Kaitlyn Marie Meddings of Mullins, WV. He is also survived by his father, Everett Meddings of Crum, WV, four brothers, Billy Ray (Arlene) Meddings of Crum, WV, Thomas (Patricia) Meddings of Dunlow, WV, Ronnie Meddings of Crum, WV, and Howard (Kim) Meddings of Dunlow, WV. He is also survived by numerous loving family members and friends. He was Pastor of the Webb Freewill Baptist Church and the Ft. Gay Freewill Baptist Church. Wayne was a graduate of Tolsia High School and of Barber College. He was born on August 21, 1967 in Huntington, WV.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 2:00pm at the Webb Freewill Baptist Church with Joe Maynard & David Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Meddings Cemetery of Lost Creek Road of Genoa, WV. Visitation will be after 2pm Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at the church.
