Virginia Lee (Jenny, Nannan) Bragg 78 of Kermit, WV went home to be with the Lord on December 17, 2019 at the Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. Nannan was the most wonderful, humble, kind, unselfish, fun, meek, loving, caring, courageous, strong compassionate woman you could ever meet. She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart passionately. She gave her all unselfishly with great love and compassion for all. She was born on September 30, 1940 in Logan, WV; she was a daughter of the late Jay and Nannie Williamson Justice. Nannan is preceded in death by her son, Jerry Lee Bragg Sr., brothers, Eugene and Wayne Justice, and sisters, Victoria Marcum and Myrtle Bragg. Nannan was a caregiver and a member of the Full Gospel Church of Jesus on Jennies Creek.
She is survived by her spouse, Landon “Duke” Bragg of Kermit, WV, sons, Terry Lee (Sheri) Bragg and D.A. (Melinda “Pooh”) Bragg both of Kermit, WV, daughters, Sherrie Marcum (Lyle “Punk” Newsome) of Crum, WV, Lugena Sluss and Nicole (Jr.) Angel both of Braggsville, WV, and daughter-in-law, Avis Bragg of Kermit, WV as well as 10 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Nannan also leaves behind her brothers, Leon Justice of Kermit, WV and J.P. Justice of Columbus, OH as well as her sister, Edna Stanley of Kermit, WV. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 12:00pm at the Jennies Creek Full Gospel Church of Jesus with Arbie Dillon officiating. Burial will follow in the Bragg Cemetery of Mudlick Road, Jennies Creek, WV. Visitation will be after 2pm Thursday at the church.
