Obituary for Tommie Spears
Tommie Spears 59 of Lovely, KY passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at his home. He was born on March 4, 1962 in Columbus, OH; he was a son of the late Wilma Jean Hunt, who passed in 2009, and his dad, John Albert Spears of Lovely, KY. He was a welder and member of the Martin County Freewill Baptist Church.
Tommie is survived by his fiance’, Ruby Chaffins of Lovely, KY, sons, Tommie Lee Spears of Danville, WV, Timmy Spears of Columbus, OH, Charles Jefferson (C.J.) Spears of Columbus, OH, and Cody Gene Spears of Lovely, KY as well as a daughter, Katie Hardwick of Columbus, OH as well as 5 grandchildren. Tommie also leaves behind his siblings; John Elbert Spears of Columbus, OH, Gregory Spears of Warfield, KY and Tabitha Jean Spears of Lovely, KY as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Visitation will be after 4pm at the Warfield Church of God on Saturday, November 27, 2021 with funeral services being conducted on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 1:00pm at the church with Pastor Robbie May officiating. Burial will follow in the Spears Family Cemetery of Lovely, KY. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Tommie Spears.
