Obituary for Thurman A Spurlock

Thurman A. Spurlock 47 of Jennies Creek, WV; passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at his home. He was born on Feb. 2, 1975 in Mingo Co., WV; he was a son of Hannie Spurlock Block of Kermit, WV and the late William Lee Spurlock. Thurman is preceded in death by his brothers, Russell Spurlock and William Spurlock Jr. He was a general laborer and of the Freewill Baptist Faith.
Thurman is survived by his son, Thurman Spurlock of Wayne County, WV as well as 3 step children and his siblings; Everett Spurlock of Kermit, WV, General Perry of Warfield, KY, and Melvina Parsley of Twelvepole Creek, WV as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be after 1pm Thursday, July 23, 2022 at the Welcome Home Church with funeral services being conducted on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 12:00pm with Freddy Messer Jr officiating and burial will follow in the Hodge Cemetery of Jennies Creek, WV.
