Obituary for Steven Dingess

Steven Dingess 49, of Left Fork of Lost Creek Road, Ft. Gay, WV; passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY. He was born on December 27, 1970 in Louisa, KY; he was a son of the late Travis and Georgia Maynard Dingess. Steven is also preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Dingess. He was a carpenter by trade.
Steven is survived by his companion; Faye Spaulding of Ft. Gay, WV, son, Steven Nate Dingess of Ohio, daughter, Samantha (Jacob) Thompson of Prichard, WV, step-children; Autumn Vincent, Adam Vincent, Roger Vincent, and Benjamin Newsome as well as 2 grandchildren, Callie and Carson Thompson. Steven is also survived by his brothers, Travis and Chris Dingess as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 1:00pm at the Cox Cemetery, Billy’s Branch, Genoa, WV with Joe Mullins officiating. Burial will follow after the service. Visitation will be from 12:30pm-1:00pm at the cemetery. In accordance to the Governor’s mandates and in response to the Covid-19 virus, all attendees must wear a face covering of some type and observe social distancing guidelines. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
