Obituary for Steven Ray Messer
Steven Ray Messer 42 of Lost Creek Road, Ft. Gay, WV; passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 in Breeden, WV. He was born on June 29, 1980 in South Williamson, KY; he was a son of Ray Messer Jr. and Helen Susie Messer of Ft. Gay, WV. He worked for Mill Rights of Huntington, WV.
Steven is survived by his parents as well as his son, Steven Calvin Messer of Lenore, WV, daughters, Destiny Faith Messer of Summersville, WV and Charity Messer of Lovely, KY, brother, Melvin Randall Messer of Mt. Olive, WV and sister, Heather (William) Brewer of Ft. Gay, WV. He is also survived by his grandparents, Oliver Ray Messer, Laura Belle Messer Bragg, Donald Ray Messer and Freida Messer as well as Brayden Riley Brewer and Trenton William Brewer.
Visitation will be after 5pm Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at the Lights of Home Community Church of Lost Creek, WV with funeral services being conducted on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 11:00am with Jerry Newsome officiating. Burial will follow in the Lights of Home Cemetery of Lost Creek, WV. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Steven Ray Messer.
