Obituary for Steven Jay Heller
Steven Jay Heller age, 33 of Huntington, WV departed from this life on February 27, 2022 in Huntington, WV. Steven was born June 5, 1988 at Erlinger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tn to Sherrie Bragg Newsome and the late Steven Jay Heller of Tennessee.
He is preceded in death by his dad, Steven Jay Heller as well as his grandparents, Landon (Duke) Bragg and Virginia Lee (Jenny) Bragg of Kermit, WV, James Heller of Kermit, WV and Elizabeth Heller of Michigan and Uncle, Jerry Lee Bragg Sr. of Kermit, WV.
Steven was a good hearted person with a heart of gold. Even when he was having difficulties himself, he would still help and look out for others in need. He may have had many struggles in life, but he considered himself blessed. No matter what kind of day he was having he would say, “I am Blessed.” Although he loved life and being free, he loved his family and baby girl, Jaydyn with all his heart.
Steven leaves behind his precious mother who loved him with her whole heart, Sherrie Bragg Newsome, step dad, Punk Newsome, Stepson, Joshua Curry, daughter, Jaydyn Heller, brother, DA (Melinda) Bragg, nephew, Jacob Bragg and niece, Jacey Bragg and a host of other family members and friends, who will miss him deeply.
Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Wednesday, and from 5-9pm on Thursday, at the Jesus Is Lord Church on Jennies Creek, WV with funeral services being conducted on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 1pm at the church with Arbie Dillon officiating. Burial will follow in the Bragg Cemetery of Jennies Creek, WV. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Steven Jay Heller.
