Obituary for Sidney Wayne Briggs
Sidney Briggs, 63 of Warfield, KY went to be with the Lord on August 13, 2020 in St. Mary’s hospital in Huntington, WV. He was born on December 18, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio to the son of French Clifford Briggs and Aileen Hall Briggs. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, sister June Briggs Muncy, and brother Kenneth Terry Briggs and daughter Sabrina Elizabeth Briggs.
He is survived by his wife Vanessa Kirk Briggs, son Nicholas Charles Kirk, two grandson Bradley and Braedon Briggs and two great grandchildren.
He worked for the Martin County Fiscal Court as a park worker at Warfield Park, where he retired. Sidney was loved by all those that knew him and will be missed dearly, by the loved ones he leaves behind.
Memorial services will be conducted at a later date, which will be set by the family. Once services are confirmed the arrangements will be announced. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Sidney Briggs.
