Obituary for Ruth Ann Moore
Ruth Ann Moore 72 of Pilgrim, KY passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at the St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV. She was born on July 12, 1948 in Martin County, KY; she was a daughter of the late Jessie and Minnie Ward Patrick. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul David Moore, son, Paul David Moore Jr., siblings; Richard Patrick, Haskel Patrick, Leroy Patrick, Linville Patrick, Oakie Patrick, Launa Crum and Lovely Stepp. She was a homemaker and member of the Big Elk United Baptist Church.
Ruth is survived by her son, James C. Taylor of Pilgrim, KY, daughters, Sherry (Bobby) Fletcher of Lawrence County, KY, Amanda (Jimmy) Endicott of Pilgrim, KY, and Jessica (Elvis) Harmon of Pilgrim, KY as well as 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother, Frank Patrick of Ohio and sister, Eloise (Milton) McCoy of Lawrence County, KY as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be after 4pm Thursday, March 25, 2021 at the Zion United Baptist Church called Pack Bottom, Milo, KY with funeral services being conducted on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 1:00pm with Lonnie Ratliff and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Jude-Fletcher Cemetery of Pilgrim, KY. In response to the COVID-19 Virus, all attendees are required to wear face mask and practice social distancing.
