Roy Spradlin age 79 of Naugatuck, WV passed away peacefully on Sunday June 28, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on February 25, 1941 to the late Rush and Della (Crawford) Spradlin of Mingo County, WV. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a son Roy Spradlin Jr., his brothers Leonard Thompson, William Elkins, Remus Elkins, James Elkins, Rush Spradlin Jr., and Laurence Thompson and one sister Emma Jean Cantrell.
Roy owned and operated his own exterminating business for 40 years. He was a passionate man about God, family, and love. He loved to laugh and share stories that life had given him. He touched the lives that knew him.
Roy is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Ethel (New) Spradlin, of 43 years. He is also survived by three daughters: Pamela Hignite (Bobby) of Naugatuck, WV, Bambi Murphy (Dalena) of South Williamson, KY, and Rachel Craven (Timothy) of Naugatuck, WV. He was also survived by two sisters Bonnie Kerr (Jim) of Florida, Shirley Scott (Jack) of Virginia and one brother Ronald Spradlin (Barbara) of Virginia. His grandchildren Bobby Ray Hignite, Adine Hignite (Satch), Timothy Dalton Craven and Autumn Murphy. Great grandchildren include, Abby Tessi, Donavan Pinkerton, Trinity Hignite, and Charity Hignite.

The family will be having a graveside service to this remarkable man on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at the Jarvis Family Cemetery located at Winco Block in Naugatuck, WV with Brother Earl White officiating.
