Obituary for Roland Block
Roland Block 66, of Kermit, WV passed away on April 6, 2021 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY. He was born on November 22, 1954 in Logan, WV; he was a son of the late Adrian and Geneva Muncy Block. He was preceded in death by his siblings; Riley and Troy Block and Jannie Warrix. Roland was a coal miner.
He is survived by his children; Roland Block of Kermit, WV, Todd (Megan) Block of Genoa, WV, and Kelsey Block and Fiance, Joshua Thompson of Wayne, WV and five grandchildren; Rebecca Block, Brooklyn Block, Jaylyn Block, Mayson Thompson, and Roland Thompson. He is also survived by his siblings; Michael Block of Crum, WV, Donnie Block of Man, WV, Thurman Block of North Carolina, Timmy Block of Kermit, WV, Virginia Baisden of Kermit, WV, Kelly Marcum of Williamson, WV, and Dixie Coddle of Ft. Gay, WV and friend, Karl Brewer of Crum, WV.
At the request of the family they will be no services at this time and he has been cremated. Burial will follow in the Block Holler Cemetery, Marrowbone, WV. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Roland Block.
