Obituary for Rodney Paul Jone
Rodney Paul Jones 71 of Lovely, KY passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. He was born on Sept. 2, 1950 in Wise County, VA; he was a son of the late Robert and Mary Lucas Jones. He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Lee Jones and brother, Ollie Jones. Rodney was a retired EMT Trainer and construction worker and member of the Golden Springs Freewill Baptist Church.
Rodney is survived by his son, Ryan Paul Jone and Daughter, Beth Ann McDainels as well as2 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Rodney also leaves behind a sister, Cora (Mike) Hobson, special cousin, Annie Lou Wright and 2 special friends, Goldie and Dee Jude.
Visitation will be on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 6-8pm at the Mullins Family Funeral Home with funeral services being conducted on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 11:00am at the funeral home with Sammy Ray Patrick and Bill Messer officiating. Burial will follow in the Burton Cemetery of Ligon, KY. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Rodney Paul Jones.
