Obituary for Ricky Dean Mullins
Ricky Dean Mullins, age 63 of Sidney, KY passed away at his home on Saturday October 3, 2020. He was born June 9, 1957 to the late Alvin Mullins and Martha Blackburn Mullins. Besides his parents Rick was preceded in death by sister; Marina (Lou) Darbyshire, brothers; Elvie Gene Mullins and Donnie Ray Mullins and his wife Linda Mullins. He is survived by his wife Nancy Webb Mullins, daughter Marina (Jason) Runyon of Sidney, KY, son Richard (Melissa) Mullins and the loves of his life, his grandchildren, Daniel Cole, Makayla Abigail, and Rebecca Jane Mullins of Hardy, Ky, Elijah Lucas and Jonah (Bear) Runyon of Sidney, KY brother; Roger (Debbie) Mullins and a sister in law Patsy R. Mullins. He also leaves behind Max, his faithful side kick, Rick loved all his family and friends which was many. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom he loved. He never met a stranger anywhere. A special thank you to Roger Anderson, John Edmiston, and Mickey Hatfield whom he thought of as brothers and a mother in law Lois Webb of Williamson, WV whom she loved like a son.
As a husband, Rick was sweet, crazy, and a jokester. He could make me laugh and make me want to punch him all in the same moment. I will always miss him and I can’t imagine my life without him there, even in the worst of times. Even when we didn’t agree, and that was often, but I always loved him and I always will. Please continue to pray for the Mullins Family, by request of the wife Nancy Mullins.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday October 7, 2020 at 1:00pm at the Big Creek Freewill Baptist Church of Sidney, KY with Gary Blackburn officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, October 5, 2020 at 6:00pm and special services Tuesday October 6, 2020 at the church with Roger Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Mullins Family Cemetery in Sidney, KY. IN RESPONSE TO THE COVID-19, ALL ATTENDEES ARE REQURIED TO WEAR A MASK WHILE ATTENDING SERVICES AND MAINTAIN PROPER SOCIAL DISTANCING.
