Obituary for Rebecca Lynn Carter (Bailey)
Rebecca Lynn Bailey Carter 67, of Lovely, KY went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, June 16, 2022 while visiting her daughter in Crum, WV. Becky was born on August 22, 1954 to the late Earl and Hazel Muncy Bailey of Lovely, KY. She was also preceded in death by son-in-law, Joey Runyons, brother-in-laws, George Robin Carter and B.J. Spence.
Becky is survived by her loving husband of 35, years, Mark (DOG) Carter of Lovely, KY as well 3 children, Michelle (Eric) Brown of Crum, WV, Josh Webb of Huntington, WV, Christy Runyons of Inez, KY, as well as several grandchildren; Brianna, Cory, Cody, Erica, Jason, Gracie, Susie, and 2 great grandchildren, Marlee, and Sophia. Sister-in-laws, Sally, Linda, Angie, Rhonda and brother-in-laws, James and Curt Spence as well as special friends, Monroe and Judy Maynard.
Rebecca was a homemaker, she loved her home, husband, children, and grandchildren more than anything in life as well as her dogs. Becky lived just about her whole life in Lovely, KY. She loved the community, the area it was home to her. She was a kind and loving person and cared about others.
Becky gave her life to God on December 21, 2021 and was baptized at the Perry Point Church on Jennies Creek in West Virginia. She will be greatly missed here on earth by all who knew and loved her. But now she can rest in peace with our precious Heavenly Father. Love always and forever, your family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10am til 1pm on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 with funeral services being conducted at 1pm Wednesday at the Mullins Family Funeral Home with Joe Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Dials Cemetery of Coldwater Road, Inez, KY. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Rebecca Lynn Bailey Carter.
