Ralph Maynard 62 of Lovely, KY went home to be with the Lord on March 14, 2019 at the Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. He was the son of the late Claudine Preece Maynard and was born on June 29, 1956 in Pilgrim, KY. He was preceded in death by his brother, Howard Maynard Jr. and sister, Marlene Maynard Allen. Ralph was a coal miner and of the Baptist Faith.
Ralph is survived by his spouse, Rita Marcum Maynard of Lovely, KY as well as his Father, Howard Maynard of Paintsville, KY and his sons, Ralph Austin Maynard of Lovely, KY, Lance Maynard of Teays Valley, WV, daughter, Daysha Burchett of Paintsville, KY and Taria Maynard as well as step-children, Kendra Nicole Finley Stroud of Dunlow, WV, and Zachariah Kent Finley of Dunlow, WV and 3 grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 brothers; Clifford Maynard of Paintsville, KY, Johnny Maynard and Claude Jude of Warfield, Ky, and sisters; Patty Maynard Robinson of Portsmouth, OH, Joyce Gaye Maynard Pauley of Pilgrim, KY and half sisters, Lisa Maynard Hall of Pennsylvania and Diana Maynard Jude of Lexington, KY. He also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at 7:00pm at the Mullins Family Funeral Home with Joe Mullins officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7pm on Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of Flowers donation are asked to be given to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Ralph Maynard.
