Obituary for Perlie Messer
Perlie Messer 83 of Kermit, WV passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY. He was born on February 4, 1940 in Williamson, WV; he was a son of the late Freelin and Mary Kirk Messer. He was preceded in death by daughter, Linda Gail Messer as well as siblings; Kenny, Lonnie, Curtis, Gene, Russell, Jesse, and Bill Messer, Sara Belle Messer, Brookie Dalton, and Diane Messer. Perlie was a sawmill worker.
Perlie is survived by his sons, Paul Allen Messer and Jr. Messer of Stepptown, WV, brother, Don Messer of Kermit, WV, and he claimed Maryssa Salmons and Samuel Dallas of his own children as well as nephews, Glen Ray Messer, Lincoln (Debra) Bragg, and Jessica (Sam) Salmons as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6-8pm Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the Mullins Family Funeral Home with funeral services being conducted on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 12:00pm with Glen Messer officiating. Burial will follow in the Messer Cemetery of Messer Hollow, Jennies Creek, WV. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Perlie Messer.
