Our Loving Mother, Peachie Maynard, 79 of Inez, KY went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at her home. She was born on July 25, 1941 in Martin County, KY; she was a daughter of the late Earl and Ella Horn. She was a devoted Christian and a housewife. Peachie was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years on April 24, 2013, Amos Maynard as well as a son, Danny Maynard, daughter, Kathy Maynard, grandsons, Timothy Ryan Stepp and Jamie Lee Stepp, great grand-daughter, Hazel Mae Howard as well as her siblings, Dolly, Roy, Irene Horn, Claude Horn, Harvey Horn, Pauline Maynard, Eloise Spence, Sally Spence, Allen Horn, Oliveene Bowen, and Nadine Lundsford.
She is survived by her son, Joey Maynard (Chandra Daniels) of Inez, KY, daughters, Debbie (Henry) Fuggett of Inez, KY, Amy Lou Mullins of Springfield, Oh, Vickie Sue (Rush) Williamson of Fallsburg, KY, Robin (Mitchell) Howard of Inez, KY and Annette Melissa (George) Tackett of Mt. Sterling, Ky as well as 22 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Peachie also leaves behind her sisters, Amanda Johnson, Myrtle Kirk, Ada Hardin, and Pricie Kelly all of Inez, KY as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will be conducted on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 6-9pm at the Mullins Family Funeral Home with special services at 7pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 11:00am at the Mullins Family Funeral Home with Joe Mullins, Jimmy Maynard, and Albert Horn officiating. Burial will follow in the Amos Maynard Cemetery of Inez, KY. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Peachy Maynard.
