Meddie Whitt 72 of Little Laurel Creek, Louisa, KY went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at her home. She was born on May 18, 1948 in Martin County, KY; she was a daughter of the late Robert and Artie Mae Pack Whitt. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Homer Whitt and Charles Burke. She was a homemaker and of the United Baptist Faith.
Meddie is survived by her son, Timmy Whitt of Louisa, KY as well as her siblings; Wendell, Delbert, Lewis, Wallace, Richard, and David Whitt all of Louisa, KY, Myrtle Bowen of Louisa, KY, Juanita Dalton of Louisa, KY, and Grace Cline of Inez, KY as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Visitation will be after 5pm on Thursday, at the Vineyard United Baptist Church with funeral services being conducted on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 1:00pm at the Vineyard United Baptist Church with Richard Doc Maynard and David Bowen officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitt Cemetery of Little Laurel Creek, Louisa, KY. In response to the COVID-19 virus, all attendees are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
