Mary Marie Jarvis 69 of Kermit, WV; passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at the Highlands A.R.H. Medical Center in Prestonsburg, KY. She was born on November 11, 1951 in Mingo County, WV; she was a daughter of the late Arther and Clistie Marcum Hodge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Jarvis, son, Robert Ward, brothers, Arther Hodge, Wes Hodge, Jr. Marcum, sisters, Billy Brown, granddaughter, Courtney Salmons, and son-in-law, Greg Trivett. Mary was a Christian and a homemaker.
Mary is survived by her son; Wendell (Mindi) Salmons of Huntington, Wv, daughters, Clistie Trivett of the home, Debbie Salmons (Alex) of Crum, WV, and Kristina Stacy (BJ) of Wolf Creek, KY as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren; Kody, Alexander, Patrick, Austin, Ava, Becky, Matt, Travis, Hunter, Breaden, Tanner, Alexis, Jaxson, Evie, Elliot, Audrey, and one great grandchild on the way. She also leaves behind her brother, George Freeman Backus.
Visitation from 6-9pm on Friday and from 6-9pm Saturday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at 1:00pm at the Mullins Family Funeral Home with Ken Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson Cemetery of Jennies Creek, WV. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Mary Marie Jarvis.
