Obituary for Lula Francis Waller
Lula Francis Waller 78 of Kermit, WV went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at her home. She was born on March 6, 1942 in Jennies Creek, WV; she was a daughter of the late James (Jimmy) and Dorothy Muncy Spaulding. Lula is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Waller, brother, James Spaulding, and sister, Ethel Slone.
Lula was a homemaker as well as a pharmaceutical scientist.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna (J.R.) Preece of Kermit, WV as well as 2 grandchildren, Madison Altizer of Tuscon, AZ and Ryan Preece of Chattonga, TN as well as 2 great grandchildren. Lula is also survived by her brother, Joe Spaulding of Kermit, WV, sister, Stella Thurman of Columbus, OH, special friends, Kathleen Bowers, Ashley Stewart, and Robin Preece.
Visitation will be from 5-9pm on Friday, May 29, 2020 at the Perry Point Church on Jennies Creek, WV with funeral services to be held on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 12:00pm at the church with Stewart Martin officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Webb Community Cemetery on Webb Road, Crum, WV. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Lula Francis Waller.
