Obituary for Liddie Margarett Adkins (Moore)

Liddie Margarett (Moore) Adkins age 79, passed away on September 19, 2019 at Highlands Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, KY. She was a daughter of the late Philip and Elizabeth Jude Moore of Pilgrim, KY. She was born November 14, 1939.
She had 7 children; Audrey Scott (Billy) of Lovely, KY, Bessie (Paul) Sartin of Alabama, James D. (Mary) Scott of Pilgrim, KY, Phyllis (Bob) Maynard of Louisa, KY, David Keith (Christy) Scott of Alabama, and Karen Scott of Inez, Ky. Liddie was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Scott and one son, John B. Scott and his wife, Virgie McCoy Scott, who resides at Inez, KY. Liddie also leaves behind her 11 siblings; Malcolm(Charlene) Moore of Pilgrim, KY, Abraham (Cora) Moore of Brushy Creek, Ky, John Henry (Julia) Moore of Pilgrim, KY, Linda Preece of Pilgrim, KY, and Nellie Jean Morrison of Inez, KY. She preceded in death by her siblings; James D. (Helen) Moore of Louisa, Ky, Mark (Katherine) Moore of Brushy Creek, KY, Billy (Ruth) Moore of Inez, KY, Minnie Moore of Inez, KY, Joann Howell of Inez, KY, Gracie (Langley) Howard of Louisa, KY. Liddie also leaves behind her 21 grandchildren, Tammy Lynn Stepp, James R. Maynard, Amanda Lynn, Justin, Adrannia, Jennifer, Cristy, Tierra, Carrie, Bessie, Mary, Robby, Bobby Scott, Asley and Greg Scott, Kaitlyn and David Scott, Jonathon, Reba, Liddie, and Zachrey Scott and 17 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be after 6pm Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Martin County Freewill Baptist Church with services at 7pm on Saturday and Sunday at the church. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 12:00 pm with Bobby Mullins and Luther Fletcher officiating with Pastor Jimmy Stanley conducting the services. Burial will follow in the Robinson-Scott Cemetery of Pilgrim, KY. The church is located on Luster Lane of Pilgrim, KY.
