Laura Lea Williams Chafins of Fort Gay, WV passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. She was born on May 29, 1978 in Mingo County, WV.
Laura is preceded in death by her father Charles Warrix and grand-mother Ida Bailey. She is survived by her husband, Leroy Chafins Jr.husband of Ft. Gay, WV, son, Terry Lee Chafins of Calhoun, GA, daughters, Ariel Brewer, Deanna Chafins (Clayton) of Kermit, WV, Latasha Ann Chafins, and Lacole Lisa Chafins of Fort Gay, WV, grandchildren, Brixleigh Anthena Muncy, Jayce Montgomery Muncy and Kyla, McKenzie, Caden, and Rowdy Chaffins. Sisters, Melanie and Maranda Messer of Kermit, WV, and four brothers, and step mother Susie Warrix of Frost Proof, Fl. Special nephew Kevin (Brittany) Muncy, sister-in-law Lisa (Micheal) Slone and a host of Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Friday, May 13, 2022 at Mullins Family Funeral Home in Warfield, KY with funeral services on Saturday May 14, 2022 at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Baptist Ministries officiating. Burial will follow at the Chafins Cemetery of Marrowbone Creek, WV. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
