John Oliver Jude 74 of Pilgrim, KY passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 at the Landmark Nursing Facility of Elkhorn City, KY. He was born on February 9, 1946 in Pilgrim, Ky; he was a son of the late Oliver and Sarah Maynard Jude. John is preceded in death by his wife, Connie Jude on July 2, 2018. He is also preceded in death by his son, John Glen Jude, step-daughter, Chasity Lynn Jude, siblings, Arizona Kazee and Neronia Maynard as well as his four-legged friend, Bear. John was a coal miner and attended the Little Home United Baptist Church.
John is survived by his children; Tammy (Vince) Allen of South Williamson, KY, Carolyn Jude Workman of Lovely, KY, and Norma (Henry) Birchfield of Inez, KY, as well as step children, Charles Jude Jr. of Pilgrim, KY, Johnny Randall Jude of Hode, KY, Miranda (Dale) Huff of Florida, Charlotte Jude (Amos Evans) of Hode, KY, Angela (Patrick) Gibbs of Conway, SC, Louellen Jude(Rufus Reed) of Pilgrim, KY, Kathleen Jude (Pete Moore) of Debord, KY as well as 22 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. John also leaves behind his siblings; Kenneth Jude of Pilgrim, KY, Lige Jude of Lexington, KY, Norma Jude of Louisa, KY and Bertha Jude of Ohio as well as a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be after 6pm Tuesday and until time of services on Thursday at the Little Home United Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 12:00pm at the church with Terry Harmon and George Isaac Jude officiating. Burial will follow in the Wolf Creek Dog Cemetery of Emily Creek, Pilgrim, KY. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of John Oliver Jude.
