Jessie Mae Ratcliff 77 of Lovely, KY passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on February 2, 1943 in Clifford, KY; she was a daughter of the late Fred and Florence Copley Ratcliff. Jessie is preceded in death by her husband; Birdie Muncy as well as nieces, Eva Mae Ratcliff, Lisa Ratcliff, and Kim Copley, nephews, Elmer and David Ratcliff, sisters, Minnie Ratcliff, Dicie Bowen, Cordie Copley, brothers, James, Lewis, Fred Jr., granddaughter, Amber Pack, and step-son, Darrell Muncy. She was of the Church of Christ Faith and a homemaker.
Jessie is survived by her daughter, Florence (William) Chapman of Lovely, KY, 7 step children as well as 2 grandchildren, Jessie (Keith)Newsome of Marrowbone, Wv and Bill (Kayla) Chapman of Lovely, Ky 16 step-grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Jessie also leaves behind her brothers, Luster (Linda) Ratcliff of Mill Creek, WV and Floyd Ratcliff of Webb, WV as well as a host of 25 nieces and nephews. The family wants to say a special thank you to Tonya Hinkle and Ireda Williams for their care and love. Also a special thank you to niece, Charlene Cantrell.
Visitation will be after 6pm, Sunday, September 20, 2020 at the Webb Freewill Baptist Church of Webb, WV with Funeral services being conducted on Monday, September 21, 2020 at 12:00pm with Bruce Justice officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb Community Cemetery of Webb, WV. In response to the covid-19 virus all attendees must wear a facial covering and practice social distancing.
