Obituary for Jesse Warren Allen
Jesse Warren Allen 62, of Genoa, WV went home to be with the Lord on November 14, 2020. He was preceded in death by his loved ones, including his parents; James & Ruby (Messer) Allen, special Papaw, Jesse Messer (Daddy Jesse), and grandbaby, David Anthony Allen. He is leaving behind his loving wife of 43 years, Darlene Meddings Allen, his sons, Jesse Allen Jr. and wife Carrie, Bobby Allen a special son, Caleb Jesse Allen; four grandchildren, Daniel, Levi, Jesse James, Three great grandchildren, Anthony, Braylynn and Ruby Allen. He is also survived by two brothers, Kenneth (Pamela) Allen and William (Kimberly) Messer as well as a host of immediate family.
Jesse was a Christian for 40 years and a member of Fairmont United Baptist Church, where he has pastored for many years. He was a Godly man, who let his light shine everywhere he went. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed every day.
Matthew 21:9; And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest, “
Visitation will be from 12-1pm on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the Fairmont United Baptist Church with funeral services being conducted at 1pm with Bobby Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Messer Cemetery of Stone Coal, WV. In response to the covid-19 virus, all attendees are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
