Obituary

Jesse Warren Allen 62, of Genoa, WV went home to be with the Lord on November 14, 2020. He was preceded in death by his loved ones, including his parents; James & Ruby (Messer) Allen, special Papaw, Jesse Messer (Daddy Jesse), and grandbaby, David Anthony Allen. He is leaving behind his loving wife of 43 years, Darlene Meddings Allen, his sons, Jesse Allen Jr. and wife Carrie, Bobby Allen a special son, Caleb Jesse Allen; four grandchildren, Daniel, Levi, Jesse James, Three great grandchildren, Anthony, Braylynn and Ruby Allen. He is also survived by two brothers, Kenneth (Pamela) Allen and William (Kimberly) Messer as well as a host of immediate family.
Jesse was a Christian for 40 years and a member of Fairmont United Baptist Church, where he has pastored for many years. He was a Godly man, who let his light shine everywhere he went. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed every day.

Visitation will be from 12-1pm on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the Fairmont United Baptist Church with funeral services being conducted at 1pm with Bobby Perry officiating. Burial will follow in the Messer Cemetery of Stone Coal, WV. In response to the covid-19 virus, all attendees are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Jesse Warren Allen.

I’ll never forget him or his brother, they both preached revival at Buck Branch United Baptist the night I got saved. He was definitely a very spiritual preacher who preached with power and demonstration. I truly believe our loss is heavens gain. My heartfelt prayers and love to his family. May God bless

I went to school with Jesse and his wife Darlene. Both we’re very sweet. Rest In Peace my friend. So sorry Darlene for your loss.
