Obituary for Jennings E. "Poncho" McCloud
Jennings Edward Mccloud (Poncho) 51, of Kermit, WV, formerly of Dingess, WV departed this life October 21, 2019 at his residence. He was born May 9, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Jennings “Jigs” and Elois Mccloud.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Rebecca Tiller Meade. His paternal grandparents, Garland and Hazel Collins Mccloud. One brother, William Jennings “Bill” Mccloud, one sister, Diana Mccloud Smith and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Poncho was a man that truly loved his family and friends. He also enjoyed music and playing the piano, and just having a good time.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving companion of approximately 20 years altogether, Sally Ellison. Three sons, Aaron (Sylvia) Mccloud of Morton, Mississippi, and Brandon Mccloud of Arlington, Texas and Derrick Tolley of Ohio. Grandchildren, Olivia Wills, Aaron Mccloud Jr., Laela Mccloud, Brandon Mccloud and Sorinatee Mccloud all of
Morton,Mississippi. Adelynn Mccloud, Taegen Mccloud, Jovie Mccloud and Journey Mccloud also of Morton, Mississippi. One sister, Jeanie (Charlie) Hager,of Statesville, North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Mullins Family Funeral Home in Warfield, Kentucky with Greg Taylor officiating.
Burial will follow at the Mccloud cemetery at East Fork of 12 pole, WV.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be, Aaron Mccloud, Brandon Mccloud, Cody Robinson, Austin Baisden, Eric May, Cliff Hall, Taylor Howell and Andy Decker.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dennis Mccloud, Bruce Baisden and Wayne “Bo” Baisden.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mullins Family Funeral Home to help with expenses.
