James Marcum 77 of Tutor Key, KY passed on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at his home. He was born on July 26, 1943 in Crum, WV; he was a son of the late James and Susie Stroud Marcum. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Theresa Ann Marcum and several brothers and sisters. He was a construction worker and a Christian of the Freewill Baptist Faith.
James is survived by his sons; Jimmy and Denny Lee Marcum of Tutor Key, KY, and Brian Neil Marcum of Ft. Gay, WV as well as daughters, Dianna Perry of Dunlow, WV and Rita Lynn Maynard of Lovely, KY as well as 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. James is also survived by his brother, Wesley Marcum of Columbus, OH.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 1:00pm at the Mullins Family Funeral Home with Joe Mullins officiating. Visitation will be family only prior to services with open funeral at 1:00pm. James will be laid to rest at the Mt. View Memory Gardens of Maher, WV. Per Governors Mandates and the Kentucky Funeral Directors Association in response to the COVID-19 Virus, all attendees are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
