Obituary for Henry (Hank) Czyzewski

Henry (Hank) Czyzewski, 73 of West Chicago, Illinois passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 25, 2021. He was born on January 9, 1948, son of the late Henry P and Lucille (Wojcik)Czyzewski. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Suzanne and Theresa, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Beatrice Baisden, brother-in-laws, Hershall, Phillip, Dan, Donald, Wesley, and Toby, and sister-in-laws, Rose, Naomi, Donnetta, and Karen.

A Vietnam Veteran. Hank was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan, who retired after 38 years from the United States Post Office. Then drove a bus for 12 years and was known for his hearty laugh. He loved going to his cabin in Wisconsin and loved to fish.

Beloved husband for 49 years to Elma Lou (Baisden) Czyzewski, brother, of Gregory (Diane), John (Rose), Carol, and Pat. He was a brother-in-law of Tilda (Arthur), Thelma, Carles, Curtiss (Henny), Kennith, Eliza (Gid), Joann (Terry) Edna, Gail (Harry), Jim (Cindy), Emmette, Thomas, as well as being an uncle to many nieces and nephews, especially Nicole Tennant, whom he helped raise from youth. He was a proud master of Roxi, Katie, Dink, Link, and Mesa as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at the Mt. Hope Freewill Baptist Church at Dingess, WV on March 12, 2022 at 12:30PM with Rev. James Ed Baisden officiating. Burial will follow at the May and Baisden Cemetery of Marrowbone, WV. This obituary is a courtesy of Mullins Family Funeral Home, Warfield, KY.
