Henry Lee Baisden, age 77 of Breeden, WV, left his earthly life Thursday, August 1, 2019 following a brief illness at his home, surrounded by his wife and special friend and caregiver, Ingrid Cisco. He was the son of the late Lee and Etta Baisden. He was retired from the Mingo County Board of Education and a Construction worker.
He enjoyed spending time with his loving wife and family. He also enjoyed going to church and hunting with friends.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Etta Baisden, father and mother-in-law, Henry and Polly Marcum, brothers, Roger, Larry, and Woodrow (Chubby) Baisden and sisters, Lorene Stafford and Lois Hunt.
Henry is survived by his wife of 51 years, Gwen, brother, Donnie (Glenna) Baisden, sisters, Edith (Ron) Fair, Gail Marcum, Marcella (Freddie) Dean, Rosetta (Ernie) Hinkle, Mary (Destry Peck) Brewer, and Charlene (David) Hunt, brother-in-law, Dee (Kim) Marcum and sister-in-law, Rita (John) Pruitt and a host of nieces and nephews. Henry will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 11:00am at the Mullins Family Funeral Home with James Ed Baisden and Cornelius Lackey officiating. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery of Breeden, WV. Visitation will be conducted on Sunday from 5-9pm at the funeral home.
