Obituary for Eddie Crabtree
Eddie Crabtree 70 of Lenore, WV went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at his home. He was born on March 2, 1950 in Nolan, WV; he was a son of the Virgil and Goldie Marcum Crabtree. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy Lynn Crabtree, son, Eddie Joe Crabtree, brother, Ray Crabtree and mother of his children, Carolyn Crabtree. He was a coal miner and a member of the Victory Christian Center of Lenore, WV.
Eddie is survived by his wife; Alicia Harrison Crabtree as well as sons; T.J. (Tara) Crabtree, Robert (Pam) Crabtree, son/grandson, Ethan Copley, as well as daughters, Tonya (Bill) Workman and Angie (Chris) Blackburn, as well as 12 grandchildren; Ethan, Brantley, Haileigh, Matthew, Cydney, Jeremy, Brad, Ruby, Emberly, Hope, Tyler, and Austin and 12 great grandchildren. Eddie is also survived by his sisters; Mary Newsome, Ora Marcum, and Allison Wadell as well as a host of nieces and nephews and special friends, Dr. Robert Vaughn Lamb, Dr. Ronald Hall, and Terry Blankenship. The family wishes to thank the Leonard Lawson Cancer Center and University of Pittsburgh Hospital.
Visitation will be after 5pm Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the Victory Christian Center in Lenore, WV with special services at 7pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at 1:00pm with Pastor Terry Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens of Maher, WV. In accordance with the mandate of West Virginia Governor Jim Justice, the family wishes to ask everyone in attendance to please follow the guidelines and wear a mask.
