Obituary for Earnestine Moore (Maynard)
Earnestine Moore 76 of Warfield, Ky passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the Highlands A.R.H. Hospital in Prestonsburg, KY. She was born on March 15, 1944 in Martin County, KY; she was a daughter of the late Tolbert and Vada Maynard. She is preceded in death by her son, Terry Moore, daughter, Bonnie Bowens, and siblings; Harvey Maynard, Elsie Mitcem, Ruby Fletcher, Elza Faye Maynard, Sadie Jude, Ada Muncy, and Hazel Fletcher. She was a homemaker and Mayor of Dempsey.
Earnestine is survived by her grandchildren; Gregory (Jessica) Moore with their children; Savanna and Phoenix Moore, Rufus (Paige) Bowens with their children, Noah, Caleb, and Ezra Bowens, and Vada (Daniel) Ball with their children, Isaiah and Finnley Ball. She is also survived by her brother, Lewis Maynard of Inez, KY and a dear family friend, Carrie Fairchild.
Visitation will be conducted on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 6-8pm at the Mullins Family Funeral Home with graveside services being conducted on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 12:00pm with Joe Mullins officiating with burial to follow immediately afterward. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the cemetery. In response to the covid-19 virus, all attendees are required to wear face masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
