Obituary for Donald Gene Richardson
Donald Gene Richardson (Speed Queen or speedy) 60 of Marrowbone Creek, Kermit, WV; went to be with Jesus on Sunday, September 29, 2019. Speedy was born on August 26, 1959 to the late Okey and Ernestine Richardson. Speedy was preceded in death by his older brother, Ronald Richardson (Rockhead) and his daughter, Jessica Billiter.
Speed Queen is survived by his children, Zachariah (Jennifer) Richardson of Ft. Gay, WV, Ladonna and Trista Richardson both of Tennessee and Jonathan Fannin of Paintsville, KY. He also left behind his grandbabies that he adored, Zach Richardson the 2nd, Kayley Richardson, Katelynn Richardson, Bryson Richardson, Kyra Richardson, Hunter Ramey, Little Peyton, Bronson, Miracle, Bryce, Isaac, and Mason Fannin.
Speed Queen also leaves behind 2 brothers, Barry (Adeline) Richardson, Jerry (Joann) Richardson, all of Marrowbone Creek, also his baby sis, Sherry (Jesse) Maynard of Marrowbone Creek, WV as well as niece, nephews, cousins, and friends that he loved dearly. He was loved dearly by many and considered family, to most of all the Marrowbone Creek Family and Marrowbone Creek was a very special place to him. Speedy loved going to the Lighthouse Church as much as he could. He spent most of his time playing with his grandbabies.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 2:00pm at the Lighthouse Community Church with Keith Brumfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Richardson Cemetery Crum Hollow Road, Crum, WV. Visitation will be conducted on Friday at 6pm and until time of services on Sunday at the church. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Donald Gene Richardson.
