Donald Ray Blevins 48 of Lenore, WV; passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. He was born on July 15, 1973 in Williamson, WV; he was a son of Vinia Blevins of Lenore, WV and the late Glen Blevins Jr. who passed away earlier this year. Donald was preceded in death by his grandparents; Frank and Belva Blevins, Glen and Lucy Blevins, and siblings; Glen Blevins III and Sylvia Castor. He was a musician as well as a Christian.
Donald is survived by his son, Donaven Blevins of Lenore, WV as well as his special family, Jacob and Cameron Blevins as well as his brothers, John Glen Blevins of Logan, WV and Richard Fields of Lenore, WV.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at the Huntleyville Gospel Revelation Church of Huntleyville, KY with Harrison Baisden, Gary Dove, and Chris Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the Blevins Family Cemetery on the Right Fork of Laurel Creek, Lenore, WV. Visitation will from 1-3pm Wednesday for family and after 3pm for friends at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses. In response to COVID-19 we ask that all attendees wear a face covering and practice social distancing when possible.
