Obituary for Dave Perry
Dave Perry 71 of Jennies Creek, WV went home to be with the Lord at his house, surrounded by family and friends on August 5, 2019. Dave was born on August 19, 1947 in Mingo Co., WV. He was a faithful member of the Old Jennies Creek United Baptist Church.
Dave was a son of the late Jennings Perry and Brookie Pigs Perry; he is also preceded in death by brothers, General Perry, Thurman Perry, Arnold Perry, Robert Perry, Jennings Perry, Arthur Lee Perry, and sisters, Patty Booth and Betty Jane Perry.
Dave is survived by his loving wife; Song Ye Perry and his children, Evonne (Steve) Peyton, Dave Jr. (Janet) Perry, Tina (James) Griffith, Lafe (Michelle) Messer, Reece (Bobbie) Messer, Kim (BJ) Richardson as well as 16 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews along with several other loved ones. Dave was also a brother to Melvina Messer, Gracie Johnson, Hannie Spurlock, and Ruth Whitt.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 11:00am at the Old Jennies Creek United Baptist Church with Ray Messer Jr. and Freddie Messer Jr. officiating, burial will follow in the Hodge Cemetery of Jennies Creek, WV. Friends may visit the church on Tuesday after 2pm with special church services at 7:00pm. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Dave Perry.
