Obituary for Courtney R Jude
Courtney R. Jude 38 of Inez, KY passed away suddenly on Monday, March 15, 2021 at the Highlands ARH in Prestonsburg, KY. She was born on June 27, 1982 in Louisa, KY; she was a daughter of the late Hazel Diana McCoy and Curtis Lee Bowen of Inez, KY. Besides her mother, she is preceded in death by her oldest brother, Michael Dwayne Bowen and grandfathers, Buck McCoy and Nebert Bowen. She was a homemaker and attended the Wolf Creek Community Church of Pilgrim, KY.
Courtney is survived by her spouse, Billy R. Jude as well as her children, James “Tyson” Collins, Zachary “Isaiah” Collins, and Alissa Dawn Delong and 1 grandchild whom was her world, Grayson Ray Delong. Courtney is also survived by her siblings; Mason “Tori” Funk of Ohio, Jason “Kathy” Hall of Ohio, Curtis Bowen of Martin County, KY, Tammy “Clayton” Speakman of Wolf Creek, KY, Tiffany “Greg” Preece of Tomahawk, KY, Laura “Timothy” Speakman of Louisa, KY, Nikki Bowen of Wolf Creek, KY, and Daniella Fletcher of Tomahawk, KY, her grandmothers, Charity M. McCoy and Laura Bell Bowen as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation will be after 5pm Thursday, March 18, 2021 at the Wolf Creek Community Church with funeral services being conducted on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 2pm with Ray Staton and Rodney Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the McCoy Cemetery of Davis Branch, Inez, KY. In response to COVID-19 virus, all attendees are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing guidelines.
