Obituary for Clyde Jarrell

Clyde Jarrell
1938 - 2021
January 19, 2021, at 82 years old and after a vibrant life as a husband, father and grandpa, Clyde Jarrell passed from his life here on earth to a new one in heaven. On April 26, 1938 Clyde
was born to George and Lena Jarrell, in Hode, Kentucky. He met his yet-to-be wife, Shelby Clark in high school where they started dating in the 10th grade. Soon after graduation, they moved to Columbus, Ohio where they were married in 1960. His family and friends remember his dedication to family and God and as the most easy going kind of person, your biggest cheerleader and a very happy-go-lucky kind of person. He was always someone you wanted to be around and have in your corner.

He leaves a lasting legacy to his 2 surviving children, Brian Jarrell of San Marcos, CA and Randy Jarrell of Grove City, Ohio. His 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandkids are blessed to have known such a wonderful grandpa. His wife, Shelby, will miss the loving companionship they enjoyed for the last 61 years. There will be a private ceremony held at Fellowship Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio followed by burial in Warfield, Kentucky at the Jarrell Memorial cemetery. Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, January 25, 2021 at the Jarrell Family Cemetery at 7738 Hode Road, Warfield, KY with Joe Mullins officiating. In response to the COVID-19 Virus, all attendees are required to wear masks and practice social distancing. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Clyde Jarrell.
