Claude Randell Evans 72, formerly of Lovely, KY passed away on August 14, 2019 at Pikeville Medical Center, of Pikeville, KY. Randell had been a patient at Good Sheppard Nursing Home of Phelps, KY for several years.
Randell was born on November 18, 1947 in Oppy, KY; he was a son of the late Claude Evans and Gladolia Evans who now resides in Lenore, WV. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Kaye (Joe) Deskins of Lenore, WV, a brother, Mike (Regina) Evans of Atlanta, GA, nephew, Eric Deskins of Lexington, KY, niece, Claudette (Brad) Varney of Sidney, KY. Randell is also survived by two great nieces, Kennedy Stallard of Sidney, KY and Kate Deskins of Lexington, KY as well as four great-nephews, Ian Stallard and Cooper Varney of Sidney, KY and Evan and Nicholas Deskins of Lexington, KY. Leroy Evans, a cousin, was a very close and special friend to Randell.
Randell graduated from Lenore High School in 1966 and then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and was a retired coal miner.
At Randell’s request there will be no services and cremation services are to be conducted. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Claude Randell Evans.
