Obituary for Brenda Kay Sammons
Brenda Kay Sammons 70 of Lovely, KY passed away on March 27, 2022 at the Tug Valley A.R.H. of South Williamson, KY. She was born on February 25, 1952 in Paintsville, KY; she was a daughter of Vernon Stepp of Lovely, KY and the late Arizona Maynard Stepp. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edna Simpkins and Harrison Stepp of Lovely, KY. She was a retired High School Teacher for Mingo County Board of Education.
Brenda is survived by her son, Brent (Sarah) Sammons of Richmond, Ky and 2 grandchildren, Benjamin and Owen Sammons of Richmond, KY and brothers, James (Sue) Stepp of Lovely, KY and Mitchell (Patricia) Stepp of Crum, WV. Brenda is also survived by niece, Misty Deskins of South Williamson, KY and nephew, Christopher Stepp of Crum, WV.
Visitation will be from 10am-1pm Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Mullins Family Funeral Home with funeral services being conducted at 1pm at the funeral home with Joe Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Stepp Cemetery at Buck Branch, Lovely, KY. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be serving the family of Brenda Kay Sammons.
