Obituary for Brenda Jo Messer Williams
Brenda Jo Messer Williams 63, of East Kermit, WV; went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY. She was born on March 6, 1956 in Williamson, WV to the late Joe and Etta Sammons Messer. She was preceded in death by brothers; Kelly and Clifford Messer, sisters, Dorothy Messer, Patricia Stacy, Peggy Marcum. She was a homemaker and attended the Lighthouse Community Church of Kermit, WV.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Bill Williams of East Kermit, WV, son, Chris (Ginny) Newsome of Kermit, WV, Grandsons, who were her world, Cameron and Hunter Newsome of Kermit, WV. Special niece who she considered as a daughter, Danille Crum of Kermit, WV, special great niece and nephews who she considered as her grandbabies, Pagie Stacy, Gage Stacy, and Jace Mounts all of Kermit, WV. She is also survived by her sisters; Lois Childers of St. Albans, WV, Sylvia Newsome Runyon of Kermit, WV, Connie Rose of Swartz Creek, MI, brothers, Clinton Messer of Kermit, WV, Jody Messer of Statesville, NC as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 11:00am at the Lighthouse Community Church with Keith Brumfield and Joe Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Memory Gardens of Maher, WV. Visitation will be after 3pm on Friday, all day Saturday and until time of services on Sunday at the church. Special services will be conducted each night at 7pm.
