Bobby Joe Marcum 37 of Beauty, KY went home to be with the Lord on February 12, 2022 at the U of L Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born January 16, 1985 at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, KY to Ora Crabtree Marcum of Kermit, WV and the late JD Roger Marcum. Bobby loved to fish, hunt, and watch football. He loved his family, friends, but most of all loved his boys more than this world, but most important, he loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was an assistant Pastor and Sunday School Teacher at Jenny’s Creek Baptist Church (The Yellow Church.)

He is preceded in death by one brother, James Marcum. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Haley Mills Marcum of Beauty, KY as well as two sons, Gavin Marcum and Waylon Marcum both of Beauty, KY. Bobby is also survived by three brothers; Virgil (Lisa) Marcum who was more like a dad of Beauty, KY, Roger (Angel) Marcum of Kermit, WV, Mark (Sarah) Marcum of Louisa, KY and one sister, Sharon (Jim Ed) Muncy of Kermit, WV. Along with a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends who will be left to treasure his memories. He was well loved and will be very much missed.

Visitation will be after 5pm on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 with special services at 7pm with Danny Stapleton officiating, Wednesday evening with services at 7pm with Phillip Stroud officiating and funeral services will be on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 1pm with all services being conducted at the Jenny’s Creek Baptist Church with Joe Maynard officiating the service on Thursday. Burial will follow in the Charlie Maynard Cemetery of Beauty, KY. In response to COVID-19 virus all attendees are required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
