Obituary for Belle Kirk

Belle Kirk 90 of Wayne, WV formerly of Mingo County, WV; went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at the Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Wayne, WV. She was born on November 17, 1930 in Mingo County, WV; she was a daughter of the late General and Lydia Messer Perry. She is preceded in death by her daughters, Marsha Faye Hager, Clara (Cloie) Furry, Lydia Hager Meade, son, Alfred Hager, sisters, Francis Strugil and Lucy Williams and brothers, Andy Perry and General Jr. Perry. She was a homemaker and member of the Welcome Home Church of Jennies Creek, WV.
Belle liked to quilt, garden, flowers, canning, hunting, digging and hunting for ginseng, riding 4-wheelers, watching wrestling and game shows, going to church, and taking care of her ugliest, one eyed dog in the world, Boots. The family wants to give a special thanks to all her care givers and a special thanks to Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation and their employees.
She is survived by her daughters; Sharon Hager Preston of Wayne, WV, Ruth Hager of Kermit, WV, step-daughter, Maxine Kirk (Daniel) Perry of Genoa, WV as well as 26 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings; Albert and Jesse Perry of McComas, WV, Jennings Perry of Columbus, OH, Myrtle Perry Waller of Columbus, OH, Kathy Perry Fleming of Wayne Co., Wv, Tennessee Perry Dillon of Jennings Creek, WV, Eunice Perry Runyon of Jennings Creek, WV, Elizabeth Perry Spurlock of Wayne Co., WV, and Gustie Perry Stroud of Wilsondale, WV and a special 1st cousin, Oma (Crecie) Fleming as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 1:00pm at the Welcome Home Church with Daniel Perry and Rick Dials officiating. Burial will follow in the General Perry Cemetery of Jennies Creek, WV. Visitation will be after 5pm on Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Welcome Home Church.
