Obituary for Barbara Ferguson
Barbara Ferguson 61 of Kermit, WV passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021 at the Logan Regional Medical Center of Logan, WV. She was born on October 28, 1960 in Huntington, WV; she was a daughter of James and Sarah Marcum Jarrells of Dunlow, WV. She was preceded in death by her son, Brandon Ferguson, father-in-law, Clinton Ferguson, and nephews, James Dale Maynard and Ronnie Maynard. Barbara was a homemaker.
Barbara is survived by her spouse of 42 years, Danny Ferguson of Kermit, WV; son, Danny Ray (Rachel) Ferguson Jr. of Kermit, WV as well as 3 grandchildren, Tanner Ferguson, Devon Ferguson, and Danny Ray Ferguson III. She also leaves behind her brothers, Dennis (Tammy) Jarrells of Dunlow, WV, Jack (Tracie) Jarrells of Dunlow, WV, sisters; Yvonne (Gary) Maynard, Jill (Tommy) Damron, Thelma (Jessie) Salmons, and Mary (Larry) Salmons all of Dunlow, WV. Barbara is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Nick Damron, Kelly Hundley, Dee Cyrus, Roo Salmons, Dena Jarrells, Steeler Salmons, Jacie Jarrells, Jamison Jarrells, Austin and Ryan Browning. She is also leaving behind special cousins, Browning sisters, cousin like a brother, Eddie “Bug” McCann of Summersville, GA, sister-in-law, Hope Hundley and mother-in-law, Jessie Ferguson.
Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 2:00pm with Elder Tommy Damron officiating. Burial will follow the services and the McCann Cemetery on Lick Log Road, Dunlow, WV. Visitation will take place from 1-2pm at the cemetery.
