Obituary for Audrey Triplett

Audrey Elizabeth (Booth) Triplett passed away at her home on Friday August 21, 2020.
She was born June 16, 1926 in Warfield, Kentucky. She was the daughter of John Morgan and Lessie
(Jordan) Booth. She was married to J.B. Triplett for 46 years until his passing in 1991.
She is survived by her two sons John R Triplett and Mike (Melanie) Triplett. She had 4 grandchildren:
Regena (Jeff) Triplett Jones, Elizabeth (Gary) Triplett Webb, Dr. John Michael (Stephanie) Triplett and
Michael David Triplett. She also leaves behind great grandchildren Amelia (Todd) Breahm, Phillip Crum,
Madison Jones, Jacob Triplett, Caleb Triplett, Lilly Triplett, Braiden Webb and great great grandchildren
Parker Breahm. Charlotte Breahm, Alex Breahm Barrett Breahm, and Emery Crum.
She was preceded in death by her husband J.B. Triplett, her parents John and Lessie Booth, her brothers
Sheridan Booth, Auxier Booth, Shelvie Booth, Clifford Booth, sisters Lousie Cooper, Jean Small and
Ester Booth as well as her daughter in law Bonnie Triplett.
Audrey lived her entire life as a resident of Warfield. She belonged to the Eastern Star for 75+ years. She
loved to watch basketball and was an avid UK Wildcats fan.
To know Audrey was to love her. She was known by everyone as Mimi. She has served as the
matriarch of her family for the past 29 years. She loved her family deeply and made each member feel
valued and special. She especially enjoyed spending time with family. Her home was the hub of many
family gatherings and celebrations. In addition, she had loyal friendships that were very special to her,
Rosalie Smith, Donna Kirk , Debbie McCoy and Billie Jean Mills.
She was a strong woman and no matter what life circumstances came her way she faced them head on.
She could often find humor in situations and had an infectious laugh.
She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Mullins Family Funeral Home is taking care of all arrangements. Pastor Lonnie Smith will be presiding.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic services will be the immediate family only.
Interment will be in the Warfield Cemetery in the family plot.
