Angela Scott McCoy 47 of Pilgrim, KY entered into her heavenly home on April 30, 2021 at Highlands A.R.H. in Prestonsburg, KY. She was born on August 8, 1973 in Prestonsburg, KY; she was a daughter of the late Bill and Ruby Jude Scott. Angie is also preceded in death by her son, James Dallas McCoy as well as her siblings; Carl Scott and Brenda Scott. She was a homemaker.
Angie is survived by her husband, Billy Ray McCoy, the father of her children, Ernest Dean Scott as well as her children, William (Kelli Jo Kirk-Blair) Scott of Inez, KY and Andy (Margaret) Scott of Lovely, KY and her grandchildren; Jett Blair, Ravyn, Dallas, Cage, and Destiny Scott and Raiden Jude. She also leaves behind her siblings; Katherine Moore Lilly of Pike County, KY, Geneva Sartin of Warfield, KY, Darrell Scott of Pilgrim, KY, Jimmy Dean Scott of Inez, KY, Jason Scott of Pilgrim, KY, Michael Scott of Warfield, KY, Patricia Hill of Martin Co., KY, and Linda Carol Scott of Martin Co., KY.
Visitation will be after 6pm on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Martin County Freewill Baptist Church as well as on Sunday at the church with funeral services being conducted on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 12:00pm at the church with Bobby Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Finley Fork Cemetery of Pilgrim, KY. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. In response to COVID-19 virus all attendees are required to wear face masks and practice social distancing.
